WHAT NOW? (shop owners read please)

Shop owners:
1) Check to make sure your store name is on the list. This is not the order of the hunt.
2) Send me your hint if you have not yet, please put it on a NC with your store name OR your contact name, unless you can get me to respond in an IM, other wise do not trust that I got it in an IM if I do not respond to you. I cap daily. ALSO let me know if you want a 1 prim or 9 prim turkey.
3) Make sure your sign is out.
4) Sit tight, I will be sending turkeys out soon :) Looking at maybe as soon as this weekend.

When can you put your turkey out?
Oct. 31,2009 (really anytime if you need to, but the hunt will not start until the 1st of Nov.)

Shop Owners:

10/7 - This week I am working on catching up and passing out the signs for the shops that already put there applications in. As soon as you get your sign please put it out. You have all rights on your sign. If you need another sign, if you have two or more stores please copy the sign. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THE SIGN OUT TO STORES NOT IN THE HUNT. Only resize the sign if you need to. There are about 40 of you right now! Great going! I will be accepting applications until 10/15.
If you sent in your application before 10/9 and did not receive your sign please resend your application.

10/10/09 EVERYONE should have received a nc about the hunt please take a look for it, if you do not have it please get a hold of me.

10/15/09 Today finally is the last day of collecting and adding new stores to the hunt, if you still want to join, I'm collecting NC until Midnight SL time. Please check the sponsor's list and see if you made it on there, if not resend your application please (add your contact name, store name, LM and hint if you know it, also if you want a 1 or 9 prim Turkey).

10/20-10/25 some where around these dates I plan on passing out the little cube with a turkey on it. *I had a prim turkey but it was 9 prims, I know that some stores can not handle that many prims so you have your choice. As soon as you get the Turkey or as soon as you know I need to start collecting hints :) So send them my way with your contact name/store. I will be making a list of the hints on the blog and on a nc.

10/30-31 You may start to put out your turkey. I do prefer for you to wait until late on 10/31, but some of you contacted me about not being able to do it that day. So yes you may put it out earlier.

Shop owners:
If you want to join the hunt, you have until Oct. 15 to get your NC into me. See below for my name in SL. Please do not e-mail me at this e-mail! I do not check my e-mail. But I am in world daily. Shop owners send me a note card with your contact name on it and the landmark of your store. I will get in contact with you soon to give you the items you need before the hunt.

Please also send me a note card. Please do not e-mail me at this e-mail! I do not check my e-mail. But I am in world daily. Posted on my profile is the starting point of the shop for the hunt. The hunt runs from Nov. 1, 2009 until Nov. 30, 2009. There are several hunt groups out there if you need some help on the hunt.

Guidelines & How To

Guidelines:
1. Please remember that the shop owners are giving their time and items freely. So if you don't like the prize, delete it and move on. Do not be rude or whine to myself or the shop owners. Remember to respect others.
2. Exchange hints and help others, but do not give exact locations. Please do not cheat it is not fair to others and to the shop owners that put the hard work into this for you.
3. Be nice and play fair, also I can not stress enough be respectful of others.
4. Most important of all - HAVE FUN! It's what hunts are all about ㋡
5. If you have any trouble or questions send me a note card, or join one of the hunt groups out there.

How To:
1. Obtain the Landmark (LM) for the first store in the hunt. It is also on my profile look there and copy and paste in SL.
2. Find the turkey in the store.
3. Buy the turkey for L$0.
4. Find the notecard in your inventory, with the LM to the next store.
5. Continue this and have fun until the end ㋡

In November the US celebrates Thanksgiving. I know that some of you do not celebrate this hence the name Turkey Hunt insead of Thanksgiving hunt. Starting in November this is be a new grid wide treasure hunt on November 1st! Many shop owners all over SL have given up their time and has supplied the hunt with free gifts :) Each turkey is hidden in their shop and you will have to find them all! When you get to the end of the hunt your inventory will be stuffed with great gifts, something to be thankful for even if you do not celebrate Thanksgiving.
